As an insomniac, I agree with most of these, but I did find having a firmish bedtime helpful. Not “I must go to sleep at exactly 10:30” every night, but around then helped me get into a pattern where I wasn’t waking up at 5am as much.
Of course the downside was that any time I didn’t adhere to said bedtime, I got messed up for weeks.
